Does anyone think the balconies are strangely reminiscent of Studio Gang's Aqua in Chicago? There, they have horrible problems with thermal bridging because its a continuous slab. I really hope the renderings are just idealistic/representative because that would be a terrible mistake in our climate...

Yes, but that also allows much greater flexibility depending on the events at the stadium. I'll be curious to see what the plaza set up is for things such as the Twin Cities Marathon...

Garbage is a flat fee, plus an additional charge depending on the size of your trash can. Recycling/organics is "free".

There should be an amazing children's playground and/or spray ground....it'd attract families from all over. Looks like they are re-striping the Hennepin Ave bridge to have narrower traffic lanes and a bike lane with more of a buffer..

More accurately, a credit union branch, not a bank. Trustone actually mentions the project in their July newsletter. They are moving their current Northeast branch (at the Ukrainian Center along Main St.) to this location...

I thought the latest deal, as of November, ended up at about 2/3 of the cost and 90% of the advertising revenue.
