Re: Pedro Park
It's been 11 months. The Penfield is (almost) open next door. What is happening with this planned park? I just saw it mentioned in another St Paul topic. I had totally forgotten about this. It would be a great addition. The comment dates on this page are Oct 30, 2013 making it seem like something ju...

Re: Developer proposes new condo building in Linden Hills
I wonder what the total square footage was when it was 9 units. This says it is now 3, 2,000 sf units. Those seem like very large units. No way it was going to originally be 18,000 sf.

Re: Target Field Station (The Interchange)
Looking at the renderings again... I still think it is CRAZY that there are cars involved in this. It should be ped and LRT. It will be a nightmare to get into and out of that ramp on game days.

Re: Target Center Renovation
The difference between TC and TF is that the Twins put up the annual improvement fund at TF, where as it looks like the city is on the hook for TC. The numbers in the streets article are eye opening. https://streets.mn/2013/10/29/target-center-renovations-by-the-numbers/ We could have an amazing Min...

Re: Target Center Renovation
I wonder what will be included and what will be cut from the designs we saw earlier? I am sure most of this will be focused on the interior but I REALLY hope that they open up the exterior with some glass. Even if it is only on the northern half that faces Target Field and 6th st corner.

FYI - it looks like the address in the thread title is out of date. That was the old building. According to the facebook page the permanent site location: 515 14th Avenue SE Minneapolis, MN 55414.

Re: Vikings Stadium
I believe I saw an article that said, yes, there will be rollerdome at the new stadium. I am sure if we went back a bunch of pages to the level by level break down we could find the continuous concourse info. Re: Vikings Stadium
Very cool. Thanks!
According to that, we'll have 4 tower cranes to watch! That seems excessive. Anyone remember how many there were at Target Field or TCF Bank Stadium?

Re: Gold Medal Park
That plan is so simple it is great. Minneapolis basically has to agree not to develop the park for 50 years and also agree to a $50k budget cut. Am I missing something else?

They have been working on the building for a few months. Could be a good location if the streetcar goes in...

Re: East River Apartments - (2318 Marshall Avenue)
Drove past this tonight, the sign says it will open December 2013. I think it looks slick and is a nice option close to lots of desirable areas, but not too close to be fully student housing.

I questioned this in the St Paul Restaurants thread. I can't find any info about what is going on. Do you see plans for the future?

To me a land bridge only makes sense if the roads are sunken or the entire park is raised up. I do not think it makes sense here.

Is this what they are calling building #3 in the Dock Street Apartments thread? I see someone just posted a rendering over there that looks like this one.

I used to live in an old brownstone at 2875 Irving S, the outer walls always looked like they were going to fall due to bowing. Keep an eye out for more falling bricks.

Re: St. Paul Restaurant News
Does anyone know about Patrick's closing and being torn down? This is near Larpentuer and Hamline on the north border of St. Paul and Roseville. (Not Patrick McGovern's on 7th)
I never went there, but the parking lot seemed fairly busy. I wonder what is going to happen?

Re: Shapco Printing Site - (524 Fifth Street North)
As far as "lack of retail" goes, I would bet there is some sort of retail. It might just be for the 6am-6pm hours of the building and not for the neighborhood. With 900 employees (according to the article) I see it as a good opportunity for a coffee shop, deli, cafeteria type or convenienc...

Re: 301 Walnut (Sally's Building)
The map on the location has the wrong 700 Washington. WOW! That's confusingly bad.
Maybe it's just me, but I think being a Gopher student aimed housing project you would want to be on Walnut. Endless marketing options... right?

It's across the tracks. It will not have access to the Cedar Lake Trail. It is only a block or so to West River Parkway.
