Yeah, that's really sad. And they were so far along with very few injuries....All workers went home I heard.

And if those bird people got their way, it would have been $150 million over budget! Good thing they didn't give in to those folks!

Re: U.S. Bank Stadium

Maybe should have been a bit more specific....They're having a naming rights event and the sign will be on the east side of the stadium, so the first of who knows how many! Too bad there are no webcams capturing that side, but I'm sure someone will be posting a pic soon.

The fact that tomorrow is the "deadline" Garber gave McGuire, you'd think there would be more news around this today!

Re: Highland Park Target Express

HA! Yeah you're right, they probably laid the sign people off

But they're not covering anything up with it, I saw it when the Barnes and Noble sign came down and there was no mark from the old sign. They painted right over it!

Re: Highland Park Target Express

The signage looks terrible, they couldn't have had a red "target express" lettering as opposed to a red rectangle?

I wonder if this building has an atrium inside. Emabssy Suites are known for the big atriums, but ever since the recession, they've stopped them.

Re: Minnesota Multi Purpose Stadium

Yesterday was the concrete topping off event. My dad works on the stadium and came home with a pretty cool shirt actually. They'll still pour some concrete for the portions within the stadium, but as far as the outer bowl is concerened, they're all done pouring! Pretty big milestone.

I'm pumped, they need to at least double the size of their current brewery. I was always wondering why there wasn't a "brewery only" thread on here. Maybe someone who has more tenure than me could do that?
