Great! Did you also ask them to give this building a little more personality?I might have just sent that image to Reuter Walton Development.

A sign on top would be a fun way to signify that you're entering Uptown, much in the same way the theater does when driving down Hennepin.

They did? I just looks a bit different, but wouldn't exactly say it looks better. Feels more jumbled now with a lot of competing styles.

Thought this was amazing. Would love to see something like this done to one of the A-mill elevators. Re: Alatus Residential Project - 228 South 12th Street
Much improved! The last version was interesting with the zig zagging balconies, but this feels way more cohesive and the crown is great. Love the contrast with the black section as well. Not a huge fan of all the cantilevering going on with the first two floors, but maybe that will feel better in pe...

This one right? They had briefly proposed a higher intensity redevelopment of the site, but apparently felt like they didn't get the interest they were looking for.

Do people really not care about what the exterior of the building they'll be living in looks like? Odd that the website only has shots from the interior units.

They've never pulled anything off like this before so it doesn't surprise me. This is quite the leap up from what they've built on the Greenway and North Loop. This. Wonder if they simply jumped the gun and then found out they couldn't get financing for something of this magnitude and no experience...

Re: Thrivent Headquarters Block - 4th Ave and 6th St (existing building and new parking ramp)
Wonder if Henn Co would consider painting the big blank concrete wall a maroon/red to mach the general tone of the rest of the building. Might help if we're going to continue to look at it for years to come.

Would love to see the block redeveloped with the street grid re-connected. Ideally with some retail and not mega-block style like the project next door. I know I’m getting ahead of myself here as nothing has been proposed, but it’s really exciting to see this area blossoming into a dense neighborhood.

That courtyard looks lovely. Reminds me a bit of what the initial intent was for Nicollet mall before it went all concrete.

Cracks me up that most of those that signed onto this were businesses that could directly benefit from the additional residents in the area.
