I saw Nice Ride workers collecting e-bikes for what looked like charging. Which seemed labor intensive to me. Maybe they'll be built in?How does the ebike charging work? Are the charging stations grid connected?

Re: Cambria / Fairfield Hotels - 41 10th Street N (former Ramada block)
I suspect this block may be limited by the surrounding crime. Not that a large project couldn't come in and change the neighborhood, but I see this more likely in areas closer to the North Loop. Not so much crime as proximity to services for people experiencing homelessness and a pawn shop. Calls t...

Re: Cambria / Fairfield Hotels - 41 10th Street N (former Ramada block)
From DMNA development tracker "Per email from Hilary Dvorak on July 1, she was recently contacted about changes the developer is making to the building. She has yet to receive anything from the developer that outlines the changes. Depending on the changes, the project may need to go back to the...

If this starts up...combined with Gateway is Hennepin somehow going to get worse? Those two corners are getting crowded traffic wise.

Re: Rochester Transit Line
Given our state's famously flexible definition of "BRT", I'm very curious to see what this ends up actually being. It would be quite the feat if Rochester managed to get, say, dedicated, physically-separated, center-running bus lanes before Minneapolis or St. Paul got them. I agree the C ...

Re: Public Transit News / Current Events (MN only)
If some of those outlots are filled it wouldn't be nearly as bad. Many of them are hardly used especially near the residential area. Second, if you added sidewalks and bumpouts things would be greatly improved. Connections mainly need to be made across County 10 along Jefferson (Improve intersection...

Re: Public Transit News / Current Events (MN only)
I grew up over there and probably hundreds of times have used that transit stations. A few months ago I was stranded there after getting off a bus in the middle of a severe storm. I've done a lot of biking to there and I would use Sanbournal Drive most of the time and then use a light to get a cross...

It'll be interesting if one of these routes could work. Did the Northstar have a circulating bus? Second scooters and bikes provide competition of the year. I noticed a lady taking a scooter to hear car near the Metro Transit garage on 7th yesterday.

City looks for redevelopment proposal next door to the RiverCentre ramp. They seem a bit overly optimistic, but that might be the right track. It amounts to about a 20% decrease. When businesses operate on the margins 20% is significant.

Did Mayo ever put support behind this? Seems like they're a large enough employer that they could pull some levers to remove some barriers and get something moving.

Seems like the loss of the hotel rooms would effect the economics for Four Seasons? I'm curious if they thought they couldn't support more.

I hope something is worked out whether it's on existing rail or along 52. It seems to make too much sense to connect Rochester and MSP. How great is 52 during a snowstorm?

Re: Downtown Minneapolis Office Market
Not speaking specifically to the downtown, but I think it’s easy for west metro/Minneapolis people to equate St. Paul being smaller with St. Paul being irrelevant, when really St. Paul and the east metro in general have their own smaller but similar ecosystem. Like for me there was a long time when...
