I went by the numbering on the elevator doors for my count.

Intersting... Maybe that explains the different floor counts we have read. Perhaps it's 17 floors of office space starting on 4? Well, we will soon see.

More disappointing precast concrete facade materials going up on one of the Wells Fargo towers, on the 5th Avenue side of the north tower.

I feel like the color combinations are going to be really ugly on these buidlings. I have never much cared for the design...I hope they look better than I expect. I am expecting something as bad as the Hotel Ivy, with a worse color scheme.

Eh, nevermind on this 2nd post... I revisited the original plans and I think I see whats going on with the elevator shaft placement and the taller portion of the building(what I was wondering about). I think the 17th floor is extra tall, and what looks like the 18th floor is mechanical. Nice to look at the plans again....I will re-link it here in case anyone else wants to take a look again.

When they do the build out of the residential sections it will be less noticeable. I hope the will use some real stone on some of the base. I like the symmetry of the complex and that will create a nice anchor for the park. The part I dislike is the stand alone stick apartment complex in the park itself facing east. Scale is way to small. Hopefully it will never be built!

Oh boy, more precast concrete. And now in a second earth tone. What a clunky, one-dimensional, cheap-looking facade. They're certainly doing their best to replicate City Center. Such a disappointment.

The dark pre-cast isn't that terrible really. Sure stone would be better, but at least it's not the standard beige pre-cast everything has gotten lately like on The Nic.

That looks so much more promising than the pre fab on the other parts of the building. Is it actual stone?! Looks kind of like Target Plaza South.

I'm half expecting Frank Vascellero and Amelia Santianiello to walk in there.

At least they made the front door pretty!! Not sure how the rest of the walls that front the street will come out. So far 5th st is not a very promising indication.

I wonder if the medallions from the Star Tribune building are going to find a home in those circles. And agreed: this limestone or stone-like material is a vast improvement on the City Center-like precast concrete on the building's opposite side.

Looks real to me! Excellent. Those would be an awesome spot for the medallions.

When I saw those circles I too thought of the medallions ...not so much as putting them there but gave an historic nod to them. I do like the idea of incorporating them though.

Are they using pre-cast panels after the first two floors?

While the darker shade portion of the building appears to be entirely pre-cast, I think it will look alright once they get windows installed.
