McKinney Roe sounds like a professional services firm...
That's a pretty fancy name for a brothel.

I parked in Mills Fleet Farm Parking Ramp on Sunday, and the new convenience store in the east tower was open before the game. I have some cool photos from the 15th Floor roof deck looking down on the Common which I can post sometime later.

Apparently there was a media tour on Tuesday for the Radisson Red. I must say that I'm impressed with the interior designing of the hotel, but I'm not overly impressed with the exterior of the building.

Also, this doesn't sit well with me... I can't explain why, but it makes me a bit wary.
The five-level, 164-room hotel is geared toward millennial-minded travelers. It has no front desk: Guests can check in with a staff member holding a tablet or bypass physical check-in all together and check in via a Radisson Red smartphone app. The app also works as a key to the room.

Yeah, I wouldn't be cool with that. I'm totally addicted to my phone, but I've had it die on me while out and about enough times that I refuse to be dependent on it for something like that. I complain about how big the Nice Ride fob makes my keyring, but I still carry it despite the app being able to unlock bikes now. Hopefully physical key(card)s are still available from the roaming receptionist.

I'd actually be ok with that if it was in addition to the front desk. Often times when I'm travelling my phone is either dead or having trouble connecting to wireless.

Any front desk function you need is still available. There are people standing in the lobby with tablets helping you check in. There is a kiosk to print room keys. Everything... will... be... ok...

It's very one-note. And it, the Millwright and the parking garage are perhaps excessively one-height.

I like the exterior. But I do want to know how a restaurant could be inspired by "Minnesota street food". Is it going to be a taco place?

"Minnesota Street Food" means a skyway with a Subway and a Caribou.

Or perhaps a food truck theme for all the food trucks on the streets downtown? (that outnumber subways and caribous...half the year anyway). Not sure what else. State Fair?

A World Street Kitchen second location would work for me.

The look and feel seems to be cross between the IBIS hotels one finds in Europe and the NYLO chains out of Texas (that make poured in place concrete the theme).

In defense of the brick paneling on the millwright building (I know, gasp!) They are using full brick and there is quite a bit of detailing. Plus the panels come together at places expansion joints would be needed anyway. I think it will look really nice.

The Radisson Red is officially open, according to the Twitter.
