I do find it hard to believe the city would not want something architecturally significant here, considering the 80 million dollar taxpayer investment in the Interchange the project faces. Not sure I'd call it a space ship. But it is covered in wired mesh screening with a section fronting Hennepin cantilevering over a plaza. Very angular but far from a square as some of the angles and walls are skewed.The Walker is that thing that looks like a Space Ship along Lyndale/Hennipen [sic], right?
Yes, a more contemporary look with variation.The boxiness is actually a good for this particular neighborhood. What's bad is the 1987 window fenestration. Upgrade please.
