Hate to say but that sure looks like the Centre Village parking ramp section and not an office complex. Hope the windows will make this less of a turd. Not impressed right now.

I agree. Walking towards this from the North Loop the freeway ramp blocks the entire base. It just looks like a whole lot of tan brick.

One day a week I drive out of town past this on the via duct. watching the facade go up I have been VERY unimpressed. I think it has to do with the "thinness" of it. Also the glass is clear. As you drive by you can still see through from one side to the other after the glass is up. I think reflective glass could have helped improve the overall look.

We're looking at a half finished building. It may not be impressive right now, but I can guarantee that it will look at lot better once the finishing touches are in place. Regardless of the finish, this building help make the neighborhood look and feel like a true extension of downtown.

just remember that used to be here 2-3 just 2-3 years ago.

It does look a bit suburban office park-like, but I think getting the glass atrium section finished will really improve the look.

The University has had that one in its sights for a while now. There's a list online somewhere of all the buildings on their hit list. It also includes Elliott and Williamson has, as well as the Peik Hall and Gym.
