Don't worry, my car was made in South Korea, and I bought it from an American car company!

This post adds nothing to the discussion about the Vikings Stadium.

Laughing. I do research. My car was built and assembled in Japan. The car I am currently interested in is built in the US but it is not imported from Detroit. Thanks for the information though. Capitalism is a wonderful thing.

Except for the fact that I will probably drive my car downtown to see the Vikings play.

So Capitalism is a private company asking a state and a city government to pay for the majority of their facility? That is not Capitalism for obvious reasons.

As long as my teams, the Gophers, Vikings, and Twins, were able to get new homes, I don't care who pays for it.

At the risk of sounding radical and absurd, what do people think about retiring this thread and starting a new one that can focus purely on the now-under-construction building?

This thread is so long that most of the posts are now obsolete, and starting from scratch might allow us to set a precedent of not rehashing the funding mechanism every other page.

Thoughts?

I'd suggest starting the new stadium construction thread with that groundbreaking photo.
