Heard from some people that it was because they got a bad batch of the cladding from China.

Well that just goes to show how cheap they will go to get the high rents returns for a place to live. They will have be having water damage in high priced apartments soon down the road. I'd watch out for those Chinese laminate floors that they are probably putting in also. Ask Lumber Liquidators about the quality of Chinese products ,as they will be spending millions due to their toxic nature for years to come.

Gosh, do you ever get tired from your constant bitching and complaining? Seriously. I don't doubt that there will be issues with some of the materials being used. But it seems that you are always negative in most all of your posts. Just my observation. When/if you decide to build a residential tower, please, by all means, use materials that you feel are best. But to make blanket statements about the products they're using here, based on your opinion, seems a bit off putting to me.

Going by the building yesterday I saw sign up for the coming soon restaurant. Also they have poured the sidewalks along most of 3rd so that the restaurant can be accessed before the rest of the building is up and going. They still have a majority of the siding yet to put up along Washington and finishing up on the brick along the 4th street end, plus still need the siding there too. Looks like new sidewalks will be coming soon for Washington, a lot of the old is now tore up.

I saw the spire was lit up the other night. I was told by someone at the building that it was going to be lit blue, but it was white when I saw it. Looks sharp though!

I moved in last week. The building is very nice! There are still a fair amount of finishing touches still being worked on inside the building.

So is there still some road and curb work that has to be done in front of this building. I thought there was supposed to be a separate turn land to 3rd and some parking cut outs in front?

The Washington Ave sidewalk is a total mess. I assumed they were maybe waiting for that stretch of street to get rebuilt?

I think so too, because there is no sign of the protected bike lane or anything.

They actually changed the address to 313 Washington Ave S from 301. The gal that gave me a tour this past weekend didn't seem to really know why, she said something about there being too many residences.

Most likely because the front door would be here the 313 lot would have been. One of the 2 commercial spaces maybe the 301.

Random observation, but now that this has been up for a while I think it's a real win. Brings a lot of life to the street even before all of the commercial space is filled, and I like the random colorful pole at the top.
