Anyone going tonight? I'm not sure if I can depending on how these storms are.
I'll be there. I'll do my best to remember details.

Picture I saw looked great. Looks like a taller glass portion on the left side, and a lot of glass on the entire building. Looks like the taller portion is above WF?

Hey, look! It's somehow just as boring as the Wells Fargo buildings!

Looks a little like the UHG Optum tower in Eden Prairie.

The appropriate way to say that is "matching neighborhood character".

They literally said in the meeting that they didn't want to try and 1-up the Vikings Stadium.

Yeah. I don't have objections. Although the pinnacle of the Wells Fargo twins is as tall as this proposal, the bulk of the twins is lower, making it so this proposal seems a step up. Okay... I'd go for 1 story more... But ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You know, while not stepping on the Viking stadium jazz, I'd Ike to see the corner get some exciting ground to top programmed lighting.

The representative said that the building could be 1 floor taller or shorter depending on the anchor tenant.

People at the meeting made a strong suggestion that interesting lighting be incorporated into the project, so hopefully Ryan will make it happen.

Ummm... This is not good. Basically an extension to the Wells Fargo(R) wall of demarcation.

So, its extending over the top of the existing ramp, in addition to filling the vacant space? Has building over an existing structure ever worked in this city? And will the ramp need to be closed/vacated when the construction commences?

They're finishing up adding a floor to the Depot hotel right now.

I'd imagine there will be partial closures of the ramp during construction, but not the whole thing. Presumably they would halt construction and allow full use of the ramp during major events.

Speaking of construction, did they give a timeline of when they hope to start?

They said that when they nail down an anchor tenant, they will start construction. They didn't have any specifics beyond that.

the proposal from two years ago for this site was a superior building. 10 floors higher but is was a glass box with accents. this update is just an extension of the wells fargo wall.
