Maybe one more floor? this has to be close to topping out. On the Cam I can see another floor segment waiting to be places, but maybe that's for the roof?
What cam? Have you been holding out on us?

The ground level is all glass and either lobby or retail, which is fantastic, and double height at the Nicollet Street lobby entrance, which is doubly nice. The bad part of the podium is that it contains parking. I don't quite understand why the wrap is broken up on the Marquette end, but I'm not terribly bent out of shape over the design of it. Pedestrians will mostly either look at the tower or the ground level, and the podium will not draw the eye, whether you're next to it or across the street.

Just hoping this leases fast and they get a quick start on the second tower, because the one really ugly part of this building is its interior block wall.
I get all that but to me the parking ramp just sits there looming over the street level. It doesn't look bad in renderings or pictures but in person it's just there dominating everything and I think it really draws the eye. Could all that change when the project is finished, sure but I wouldn't bet on it.

Very. There are lots of good angles to be had in this town, and I will find them :)

Does anyone know if there is a way to view this through the Hennepin County Library without walking over there? (Which I may do to read this article.)

It doesn't say much more than stating they have an option on the half block to the north, which they are currently using for construction staging.

Tidbits:
Opus will open the 370-unit luxury high rise in November, the latest in a series of projects spanning two blocks and six years worth of development and construction. The Opus-developed corner of 4th and Nicollet, at full capacity, will be home to 1,500 residents, 800 office workers and several restaurants.

The latest project rises 338 feet above Nicollet Mall, across from the Minneapolis Central Library. It will have 370 parking stalls and 12,000 square-feet of retail space.

Opus might already have a fourth act in the works, Vice President of Development Matt Rauenhorst hinted in an interview.

“It’s exciting to watch the transformation of the north end of Nicollet Mall — adding additional residences and the office space, with Xcel Energy,” he said. “Now we’re talking about where next. Where do we go from here?”

Opus has an option on a 1.5-acre parking lot on the half-block just north of the 365 tower, which is currently being used for construction staging.

“We continue to look for opportunities to bring that site to highest and best use,” Rauenhorst said.

The end of this makes it sound like they haven't finalized the plans for the second half of this block? I thought the second tower in previous versions what pretty much a done deal. (I hated the two twin looking towers so I'd be happy if they switched it up)

Wow, they've got 11 months left to go?

Agreed that hopefully they go with something else besides the twin tower. Maybe, if we're lucky, they won't leave an extra-wide alley like they did a block south.

Some earlier versions of the development had the potential for that north tower to be office or a mixed use structure. I think they have intentionally been vague.

If they got the 2nd tower going pretty quickly could they use the same crane? It appears to be in the center of the block.

I think it’ll be pleasantly distinctive for Minneapolis.
