Found a cam. Wish I'd seen this a few months ago.
I get all that but to me the parking ramp just sits there looming over the street level. It doesn't look bad in renderings or pictures but in person it's just there dominating everything and I think it really draws the eye. Could all that change when the project is finished, sure but I wouldn't bet on it.alexschief wrote: ↑November 9th, 2017, 7:37 pmThe ground level is all glass and either lobby or retail, which is fantastic, and double height at the Nicollet Street lobby entrance, which is doubly nice. The bad part of the podium is that it contains parking. I don't quite understand why the wrap is broken up on the Marquette end, but I'm not terribly bent out of shape over the design of it. Pedestrians will mostly either look at the tower or the ground level, and the podium will not draw the eye, whether you're next to it or across the street.
Just hoping this leases fast and they get a quick start on the second tower, because the one really ugly part of this building is its interior block wall.
