It's also visible from Lake Calhoun's large SW beaches, probably about the top 4-5 floor currently. Especially at night you're going to notice it, but it's not really extending the skyline from that vantage point.

Whoever inserted "(376' - 36 Stories)" in the title is incredibly Minnesotan and I thank you.
It's what they do at SkyscraperCity and Skyscraper Forum....so I'm not sure how it's "Minnesotan" to do it here too. And that term has always annoyed me. Like "Minnesota Nice." Like, when did Minnesota monopolize doing nice things?

Mod Note: It was pretty Minnesotan.

I took "Minnesotan" to mean that inserting the height in the thread title was a passive-aggressive move by moderators to show that they were sick of hearing discussion about how tall this building will be ;)

About 2 days taller than the picture above ^. I.e., about a half floor higher. I am curious, though, if someone knows if that crane was raised again? It was said that the building would be roughly as high as the crane the last it was raised, but at this point I don't think there are enough stories left to reach the current height of the crane, just from eyeballing it.

Walked by it today and noticed it's passed the thirty story threshold. By far the best designed apartment project to go up in this city. None of the others even compare. Will stand proud in the Minneapolis skyline.

Hey ya'll. great pictures of this one. And yes I believe the crane was raised from 319 ft to 379ft and then recently raise to it's final height. Can't believe how quick this one grew. I'm thinking there is a lot of interest for leases here. I'm curious what rent prices are going to be. Maybe 1000 For a studio on the upper levels? And 2000 for a two bedroom?

The winds were so strong at midday yesterday that the stretch of Spruce from 13th to Grant was closed off to traffic by LPM workers and police. I think they were worried that flying objects could project from the building? Very strange.

Well, there's been a lot of work on weekends - can't say I remember if Sat. or Sun., in general, but one of the guys standing at Spruce & 13th was wearing a hard hat. It almost looked like they were summoned on an emergency basis to deal with the whipping winds, which are obviously must stronger up at 300+ft.

I would probably add $900 to $1100 to each of those estimates. ;)

Yeah, I didn't want to be the one to bear the bad news. Incidentally, has anyone one tried registering for updates on rentlpm.com? I got a mistaken (Chicago) email response back. I might call them and get the low-down. I do have a feeling it's going to be a bit of a flurry for the units of this building. It would be hard for even an uninterested person not to have noticed this building by now...

The recent article in the Strib pegged rents at LPM and Nic on 5th at $2.50/sf. There will presumably be some range within that; a given floorplan on the 6th floor will likely be somewhat cheaper than that same unit 20 stories up.
