Walls are going up
Re: Brunsfield Place Apartments - (915 Washington Avenue Nor
Alas they are covering the fence surrounding the site and blocking first-floor views with a banner advertising
brunsfieldnorthloop.com
which contains a few more renderings. I think this is one of the most interesting buildings of this crop, but I'm a bit nervous about the beigeish grey or greyish beige.

Definitely going to be one of the best projects going on in NL right now, SO awesome. The didn't allow the current norm to limit the style and feel of the building. I would have been happier with a dark grey or black, but that's still a cool color.

Good progress.
Re: Brunsfield Place Apartments - (915 Washington Avenue Nor
It's a warm dark grey and I think with the red contrast on the balconies it will look quite elegant in a very contemporary way.Alas they are covering the fence surrounding the site and blocking first-floor views with a banner advertising

I'm surprised this hasn't been brought up, but Club Jager is a top notch nightspot (one of only a handful in Downtown) and I worry that the new residents will be dumb yuppies complaining about the bar being too loud (they have live music and a patio facing the new development) and try to get it shut down. Even though it was clearly there first and clearly a bar. Hmmm... and they even have happy hour on Saturdays.

Well, wood construction is not known for it's noise mitigation. Some tweaking of the patio speakers might be in order, but otherwise I'm not too worried.
Q. What, what? A. In da butt.

This is the North Loop, not Linden Hills Hopefully they understand where they are moving as well as the people soon to be moving in next do to the vu...I'm surprised this hasn't been brought up, but Club Jager is a top notch nightspot (one of only a handful in Downtown) and I worry that the new residents will be dumb yuppies complaining about the bar being too loud (they have live music and a patio facing the new development) and try to get it shut down. The website for this project has been updated. A wonderful , urbane addition to the the North Loop.

I drove into NL down Washington from the North, and this behind Club House Jaeger make already make 10th look like some sort of weird urban boundary. It's like Welcome to the City!
Re: Brunsfield Place Apartments - (915 Washington Avenue Nor
Biking north you feel like you've left civilization:from city to isolated, deserted industrial wasteland. Feels like a longer ride than it is. And I still can't figure out your drunk post about the "vu...". Can I get a consonant please?
Re: Brunsfield Place Apartments - (915 Washington Avenue Nor
Hahaha! Actually the post about the vu (Deja Vu) wasn't drunk, the 10th st post urban boundary one was...
What I ment to say was this is an urban neighborhood with a lot of diverse types of business and hopefully people who understand that are the ones moving in, or it's their own fault. The weird phrase should have read "next door to the 'vu'"

Thanks for the pics!
How many cranes (or mini-cranes) are there right now in the North Loop -- ten? Does it look like the entire North Loop is under construction? I live in Cleveland and haven't been able to visit in quite a while, and until I get the funds (and the time) I have to get most of my info from here!!

Hi...min-chi-cbus - I actually live in SF.. but am in the Twin Cities for a few weeks and had some free time yesterday afternoon, so I thought I drive around and take some pics. I'm not sure how many cranes are up. but its a good 1/2 dozen I think.

Thank you for these great pics. Love the vantage point.
Re: Brunsfield Place - (915 Washington Avenue North)
I have a friend who lives in condos right next to this development and saw that they started putting up paneling in the back. Thought I'd share my (fairly mediocre) photo.
