For some people it might be more difficult to go back and read previous replies in the thread. No need to mock.

Thanks for the pictures. I was wondering how it would turn out. I haven't been in Minneapolis for a few months, and it was pretty much a linear dirt mound at that time.

It's reaaaaaaly grey. I hope it is more colorful when finished.

It may have been said, but does anybody know when the mall will bring back busses? FYI. I don't read comments here, but I will take my answer in a song and dance video. Please respond accordingly. Thanks in advance.
This user, Qhaberl, is legally blind. (They have stated so multiple times on the forum) I don't mean to speak for him but I'm sure reading every post and navigating through multiple pages provides a bit of a challenge.

Your post was dickish and unnecessary anyways but especially insensitive in this situation. Vision impaired people rely heavily on transit and Qhaberl has a vested interest in urban planning and development that reflect that.

I didn't know about Qhaberl's exact situation. My response wasn't meant to mock. Apologies if it did. I'll try to keep it in mind in the future.

Glad to have all involved.

Thanks. I was not offended, but it is important that you be aware.

Dec 2nd
Finally :D It'll be so nice to have the transit down Nicollet instead of all crowded on Hennepin again.

Besides the bus shelters being installed, are there a bunch of decorative elements missing? I biked down most of the mall yesterday and has been mentioned before it seemed extremely bare.

I believe they are installing a bunch of design elements this month.

The mirror/lights setup is just strange.

Also, is it just me or are the letters not set right?

I'm really disappointed in the light walk. I was hoping the lights would somehow play with the mirrors or etc. Instead it appears to be just cheap mirrors (You can see marks and imperfection in the plastic or etc coating) and LEDS that separately transition through a variety of colors.

Is it possible the mirrors still have a protective plastic film over them, to protect them during installation?

I also wouldn't read too much into what the LED fixtures are capable of based only on what they're doing for a test pattern.

All the barricades have been removed now, except the ones around the bus shelter sites. I'm not really convinced that those are going to be complete by December 2nd.

Some of them will, they will all be complete by Dec 31st. Until they are complete they will have standard bus stop signs.

Anyone know if the new mall is taxi-fee? I know that idea had been floated at one point.

It is taxi free! The only vehicles allowed are bicycles, buses, and Metro Mobility vehicles.
