Somewhere I heard that mass timber can perform better than traditional methods (can't remember if it was vs steel or concrete or both). Also can't remember where I heard it. Maybe someone else has better info.

Jet fuel can't melt steel either.

Never too soon for stupid conspiracy theories, obvs.

When I looked west down 3rd street yesterday I saw the crane for T3 looking like it was in the middle of 3rd. This will be another view like the Stadium and the Portland where the curve of the street has the building looking like they will be in the middle of the road. The T3 will definitely change the vista of driving out of town on 3rd in the near future.

Here are few progress pics of the T3 from this morning. It looks like the framing on the 3rd St side is done to the top level.

Haven't biked this stretch of the Cedar Lake Trail for awhile, so this was a surprise. Is this part 2 of the existing development on Washington or a different one? It would be neat if there are storefronts facing the trail.

Funny story. I walked up to the bridge to take this photo and a guy pulled up on a bike two seconds in front of me. I figured he was taking the same photo. I said "Grant?"

Common angle, but the chances of me running into Matt in the same place at the same time we're pretty slim!
