I like it too...reminds me of the Heritage Landings building in N Loop.

What's the latest on this project? Have they started construction yet?

I drove by yesterday because of the fire nearby and I did not see anything obvious.

I am now going to assume that bapster2006 is an arsonist active in the city of Minneapolis.

I can see this lot from my window and there has been zero activity here since they closed down the MN AIDS offices.

I wonder if they are planning on waiting until spring to break ground.

Dunno, but I'd love to get this eyesore of a vacant lot developed!

I've seen what appeared to be surveyors on site, but that was months ago.

Drove by this one again & saw that the old building is still standing. Given the involvement of a national apartment developer/investor (Weidner), I figured this one was unlikely to dematerialize. It's been pretty quiet since their approvals in August '16. Current land use approvals expire this August, so they'd better get demoing.

Anyone have any updated information on this one? Latest information I have is 243 apartments, six levels, 2000 ft.² of retail, that information was obtained from The Development Tracker. It notes that construction was supposed start in the spring of 2017.

The picture on that development tracker looks pretty ugly. That’s just my opinion though. I don’t know the area super well, but I feel like that is a pretty small amount of retail space.

Not even a hint of action on the site.

Walking by this morning, I noticed the house on this property (next the Church of Christ, Scientist building) was being demolished.

Looking back the forms, it’s been about two years since this went before the planning commission. I would assume that the approval’s have expired.
