Reminds me of the glove outside of Target Field, that would be a really nice feature if they let people climb on it like the glove. There's always a line of people waiting to take their picture at the glove, it would be cool if this ship did the same thing.little water feature there with the mini viking ship. kinda amusing.

Re: Minnesota Multi Purpose Stadium
Is the ship actually full-sized? Maybe it seems smaller than it is due to the huge building behind it.mini viking ship

Wouldn't it be great if Mark Dayton used his personal funds to buy the naming rights and name it "Minnesota Stadium"? One can dream right?

I had a similar thought last night when I realized the highway signs still say Metrodome and thought, "Wouldn't it be funny if they said "People's Stadium" instead?"Wouldn't it be great if Mark Dayton used his personal funds to buy the naming rights and name it "Minnesota Stadium"? One can dream right?

Re: Minnesota Multi Purpose Stadium
Among the MSFA docs it says they want the "sail" of the plaza viking ship to be a 50 ft x 40 ft video screen. I also found this image:

That really does look like a buttcrack (with a "XYBank stadium" tattoo) facing St. Paul.
Re: Minnesota Multi Purpose Stadium
tramp stamp. it's the least attractive side of the building for sure.

LOL. That is not a very graceful angle.
Q. What, what? A. In da butt.
Re: Minnesota Multi Purpose Stadium
So the Wilf's piss and moan that Well Fargo should not have a sign on their roof, butt they can put a tramp stamp on theirs is pathetic!
Re: Minnesota Multi Purpose Stadium
I see a lot of purple seats in there. Can anyone verify that all the seats are going to be purple?
Re: Minnesota Multi Purpose Stadium
http://msfa.com/content/GALLERY/FULL/De ... G_2339.JPGlooks like some of the high up end zone seats will have view blocked by roof truss connector look at camera 3 especially
This picture gives a good view of the upper level next to the truss connector. It appears that the seats will be a good bit away and the seats that would've been obstructed are "cut off" where that upper level tapers off away from the truss as it gets higher. I don't think they'll be obstructed. IMHO of course.
