I get why they have the arch window at the top it echos them at the lower levels but it does look huge and out of place. Hopefully that's something they can fix before they get far into the process

The arched window at the top has no supporting design elements in the surrounding wall.

Attended the meeting yesterday. Only one person spoke in opposition which was a resident of the Legacy. Obviously not happy with the new building blocking their view of the riverside. Anyway, all items for Eleven passed 6-0!

Great! Steve Fletcher mentioned at the DMNA meeting last night that he's working with Ryan/Arcadia to get a couple units to be affordable via the City of Lakes Land Trust.

It would be great if both this and Alia broke ground in spring! Watching the two towers go up at the same time across the river from each other would be fun!

I think it will be a beautiful building, I hope the new developments along Washington help it connect into the skyline a little bit. It's going to be very isolated over there.

I'm looking forward to this and Alia adding to the view heading up Hiawatha into downtown.

I was thinking the other day that, based on the way they're handling the site planning for this location, they must have visions of building a twin of this on the remaining Padilla HQ site.

Better make sure Eleven's buyers sign one of those "can't complain if your view gets blocked by another building" forms...

The quote that prices will remain confidential is interesting. I guess its like when you go to a bar/restaurant and there are no prices listed - if you have to ask, you can't afford it.

Once sales go through, they won't be confidential anymore. You can search the owner and how much they paid on the county website: https://www.hennepin.us/residents/prope ... ion-search

Problem is, those will be pending sales until the tower is complete. So a person buying before the project is complete, which I assume most will, cannot see what someone paid for a similar unit.

I'm not sure this means much, but I was snooping around on the MPCA "what's in my neighborhood?" interactive map and I see that this project received a recent construction wastewater permit. I think that would be a necessary step prior to beginning construction, which could mean groundbreaking is imminent. What do you all think?

This is rich. They just stole the view of the river from the west bank office building (where I work) and now they're already complaining that their view is in jeopardy.
