This thing is huge. The condos to the north across the trail are going to have quite a view.

From the south side. This big thing still has another floor to go.

Did they paint the former Canterbury Court Apartments (the 3 story building in the middle of the background)

Took a bike ride today. This building is fully topped off and closer to the trail than I had pictured it.

I was DEAD by the time I made it over here so I didn't make it to the other side of the building.

It's probably been said already, but 'Be' is a really, really stupid name.

I wish it were "The" instead.

Maybe they're trying to develop a slew of buildings to come up with an Abbott and Costello routine:

What is on Ewing?
No, "Be" is on Ewing.
Who is talking about the bee?
"Who" is talking about building a 20-floor tower.
Why are you asking me?
.......etc.......

Silly name notwithstanding, this really is going to be inviting from the bike trail side. I wonder how much less rents will be here compared to comparables in Uptown?

Harder to swallow if it's not cheaper. But, I guess it's still technically in Minneapolis proper. At any rate, probably a quieter area than say an Elan or Lime.

Total ripoff! You can rent at Canterbury Court (or whatever the apartments right behind this are now called) for about half that. I don't know why somebody would pay twice to live in this location. I sense a major failure.
