This Aldi offers shopping baskets which isn't a universal feature. Maybe extended hours could happen as well. I stopped by the Walgreens on Hennepin on my way home from the transit station around 9pm. Long lines of people buying grocery-type items.
It's a real head scratcher to see all that inventory, all those coolers, and all that expensive underground parking for a store that's only open to sell stuff and collect money for 11 hours out of the day.

Aldi used to do "summer hours" where they were open to 9 p.m... what ever happened to that? I wish more places did that - Home Depot stays open til 10 during the summer, for example.
