Major changes over at this property. They demo'ed the ziggurat parapet on Thursday/ Friday last week. The greenway side of the the original Karmel Square on the next block also looks pretty crappola. Double-permit check time.

Sabri's buildings remind me of a 1950's B movie set in biblical times. He's such an obvious , two bit, shady developer who exploits the immigrant community under the guise that he is one of them. ;) Sort of comical in a way.

There's nothing comical about Sabri. He's a bully, straight up. Threats, intimidation, and bluster are his stock and trade.

Then he calls the city of Minneapolis racist and discriminatory for not letting some of his plans pass as he wanted them

Here's the progress at 27th and Lake. The lines on this thing are really sloppy. Looks awful so far.

I was glad to see the peachy butter paint job over plywood wasn't the final finish. Still not expecting any beauty out of this one though.

Any idea how his What the F building leased out? His other building that he up near the Plasma Blood Center, on Lake, looks like it is nearly leased up now that there is a grocery store leasing a good portion of the place. There is a restaurant that was there before that remodeled as well.

Anyone know what's up with this place? I don't think much of anything happened at all during 2016 here.

The paper is starting to fall of the windows because the tape is so old.
