The Walkway definitely has nicer finishes than other apartments in Minneapolis. So if any building gets to call itself "luxury," it's this one. And it's only overpriced if it sits empty. That's the beauty of the rental market.

You can still see the skyline from Stella's. You just need to be on the northwestern corner of the patio. I'd say the best part of this project is how much it has changed the streetscape along Girad. Throughout the evening it was filled with actual people! And they weren't just walking by, lots of them were sitting outside eating yogurt (or ice cream?) and just hanging out. I think this turned out pretty great. But to fit in should I quick throw in I think it'd look better 10 stories taller?? ;)

The logo for this place looks exactly like a scrotum, which I guess sort of sums up the expected tenants.

Glad to get some commerce on the streets but I'd be a lot happier if Uptown didn't feel destined to become a wealthy white urban enclave.

The Jacuzzi is tiled, though still waterless.

The hot tub has water in it! Maybe it's just a test as the workers were still out there. Someone please get a picture of this.

I was hoping you were just being funny... but after driving by and looking at it, you're 100% correct.

City Pages has a write up on the hot tub, for some reason.

Definitely nothing creepy about standing on the sidewalk taking pictures of girls you don't know in bikinis and posting them to the internets

first law of doing things in public... do it only if you're willing to be seen. having studied photo law, technically not creepy at all.

That it's legal doesn't negate it being a bit creepy.
