The Buzza II project has apparently been put on hold but does anyone have any details on that?

Does anyone have information on what they are doing on 29th Street between Colfax and Dupont Avenue S? There's a tunnel under the street that leads from the Greenway to the Buzza Lofts parking lot, and it was boarded up for years until now.

don't know what they are doing but that tunnel was there the trains would come off the main line and supply the buzza warehouse.

Did the trains actually come through the tunnel? I always assumed that there wasn't enough room in the trench for a wye, so that they just unloaded from a siding and passed it through the tunnel on carts or whatever.

Underpass is getting demoed, and yes, there was a siding. https://twitter.com/daviss/status/1705295786831941914

Wasn't this something they've been planning to do for years now? They wanted to do a phase two, but couldn't remove this because their funding was contingent on maintaining the underpass as is, so they just waited out the terms of the grant.

Yep, 20% historic tax credit expires after 5 years, but that would have been 2017.
