The SpringHill Suites at 7th & Jackson is under construction. There are completed caissons that weren’t there on Thursday.

Has anyone heard if something is happening at 1177 West 7th Street? It's been a vacant lot for several years (Street View showed a house in 2007, but it was gone by the next pass in 2011). I saw a skid loader just about done tearing up the grass yesterday. This is between Tavial Grill and the strip of buildings that includes Mojo Monkey Donuts.

St. Paul permits indicate a building permit issued to RJ Ryan Constructionon September 17th for "Swor & Gatto Office Building" estimated at $500K. So a small office for a personal injury law firm.

Mentioned in the Planning Commission Meeting Minutes from June 15th, but no public hearing: https://www.stpaul.gov/sites/default/fi ... ission.pdf

60-75 unit building proposed for 520 Payne Ave site (near E 7th), currently an empty lot. On Facebook neighbors appear to not like that it will involve low-income housing tax credits.

Any idea if it would make it all the way to the corner at E 7th?

I've been told State Supply is a willing seller of their property, but I don't know if this proposal includes that space. The developers are going to present at the next Railroad Island Task Force meeting.

Did a search and didn’t find anything. Mods, please feel free to move this if I missed something.

Here is the Rice-Larpenteur Vision Plan between St. Paul, Roseville, and Maplewood.

I noticed some jersey barriers and a rather big hole being dug at Selby and Grotto. Does anyone have any information on this project?

Speaking of jersey barriers, NE corner of Rice and Como has them surrounding the old Stahl lanes footprint. Anyone have info on what's going up?

I realize that you likely mean two separate businesses in one shared building, but the thought of a literal "Combination coffee shop and dialysis clinic" has me giggling. Are people on dialysis even supposed to drink coffee?

Schafer Richardson, 99 units, 90-some parking spaces. Most of the first floor of the building is actually parking, just the front that is enclosed. Three front doors in the commercial space, but left flexible depending on tenant desires. Will include infrastructure in case someone wants to add a kitchen. No commercial tenants planned so far, construction to be completed in 2020. They said they are working with ESNDC to find tenants. Apparently the funding for the bike connection to Bruce Vento has not yet been secured.
Residential tenants will be at 60% of AMI (for the first 15-20 years).

They must have changed some settings, as I could see them yesterday (but no longer can either).
