Finance & Commerce reports that permits have been pulled for construction of East River Apartments at 2318 Marshall Avenue (SE corner of Marshall & Otis).

Looks pretty great to me! Yay! Interesting area, not usually much going on in such a 'complete' neighborhood.

It's great to see this thing make progress. I thought the project was dead. I've been jogging by this lot since 2006 with my fingers crossed something would happen. I know there were a handful of neighborhood objects, but frankly, they should be lucky the open surface parking lot is going away - and that Lander is doing the project - so I'm positive it'll be of high quality.

The condo thing died after the bust do to design issues. The same problems happened again with this apartment complex. with zoning variances. They must have finally got them resolved or the city finally decided to add housing and to their tax base.

Construction has started on this one.

Nice! I'm excited to see this project finish up.

Just drove by this yesterday too and was pleasantly surprised. It looks promising.

This is the view from the fourth and fifth floors of the building. It's a unique view of the skyline combined with a beautiful view of the river. My phone's camera doesn't quite do it justice...it is an amazing panorama.

That's OK, if you're into that sort of thing.

Drove past this tonight, the sign says it will open December 2013. I think it looks slick and is a nice option close to lots of desirable areas, but not too close to be fully student housing.
