Has anything moved into the old Wells Fargo Building at Grand and Concord Exchange? I worked at that site for several years. It employed 250-300 people including a back office for one of their businesses and a bank branch. Wells shut down the bank branch it and moved the back office functions to Mendota Heights back in 2012. The landlord of that building didn't seem terribly interested in investing in it and it didn't seem like it would be occupied anytime soon after Wells vacated it. I'm sure lunch places around there took a hit when Wells moved out.

West St. Paul, South St. Paul restrict housing for disabled

West St. Paul and South St. Paul have taken steps to restrict housing options for people who receive state assistance for being both low-income and disabled, despite Dakota County’s misgivings.

City officials say such residents call police too often and that their communities have more than their fair share of rental properties catering to their needs.

“We have enough of these properties in the community,” said Tom Seaberg, a South St. Paul City Council member. “It’s not a discriminatory thing, it’s an economic issue.”

Worth highlighting that their own records show that South St Paul saw just 5 calls a month to their 5 “registered housing with services” buildings. To call this an economic issue is........
