Criminal vehicular homicide, by a repeat drunk driver, driving without a driver's license ... and you only get a couple years in prison.

I'd just paint a cinder block green and place it in my lawn. they'd be spending a lot more than just for new tires!

What I read was the ped was carried 50 yards, too. Is that right?

Looking at the Strib video, the investigators were concentrating on the area in front of Maruso's/ Barfly, so that seems correct.

gotta love the comments on the strib article that blames the pedestrian for walking on a green light/walk symbol without checking to see if a car was going to make an illegal manouver close to them... :?

The motorist that crashed into and killed a city of Bloomington crew member that was removing snow from the American Blvd sidewalk was drinking, going 100 mph down American Blvd, and trying to kill herself.

Wait, what? That's satire right? Woman tries to cross street at intersection (not f'in jaywalking), speeding inattentive driver fails to yield, Woman is injured, Cops say whoops, she was wrong? No.

I guess crossing at the crosswalk and 'Jaywalking' was a difference of 30'.
Also, the palm tree porch camera guy has always creeped me out. What in the world is he recording? And why?
