The BRT plan has failure written all over it. Bloomington and Eden Prairie are only served by a station with a few buildings and a giant highway interchange within walking distance, the warehouses in Shakopee aren't directly served, Southbridge isn't served, the frequency does not make it qualify as BRT service (I don't care if the Met Council thinks it qualifies), they still can't seem to grasp the concept of a local bus going all the way from the MOA to Southwest Station, and the interim bus service options are just Route 494 but the northern half is cut. So when this fails, we'll be stuck with it and know why there are so many people skeptical about transit projects. Or they can save us all the trouble and scrap this, and find a better way to improve transit while still having it be successful. Corridors like Highway 169 were not built with transit in mind, and if you want BRT on this corridor you need to literally move buildings next to the freeway so when people get off their actual destination is in walking distance.

Anyone know what the passengers per in-service hour is for the Red Line?
