That rendering is going to sit on top of the concrete slab in Nick's picture. No crisis to be had.mplser wrote:and then developers wonder why people don't trust them?Nathan wrote:not exactly as attractive as it was before...

I'm very confused by this post. Are you saying that because the building pictured in that updated "rendering" is going to sit on that slab that there isn't a "crisis?" What "crisis" are you referring to? While I wouldn't call it a "crisis", I would certainly say that this image is several steps below early images of the design - classic VE "stripping" of the building. While not a "crisis" in my mind, it is definitely not as nice of a building. What a shame...mister.shoes wrote:That rendering is going to sit on top of the concrete slab in Nick's picture. not that the new one is all that ugly, but mostly because the rendering before it looked pretty damn sexy, and I was excited for it. the new one is alright, but plain and If I'm not mistaken, doesn't meet the sidewalk as wellmister.shoes wrote:I think I misunderstood both Nathan and mplser in that they were reacting to the blue thing in the background and comparing that to the rendering. My bad.
