I don't know if they're doing it for Gopher games, but at least for Vikings games they've setup a tailgate thing on the street. But still a huge missed opportunity. I'm guessing when the brand changed ownership the promises to the owners to be open ASAP flew out the window. I'm also kind of amazed they got this done in time for move in. I doubt they planned all along to still be finishing the exterior when the school year started, so there must have been some serious delays along the line.

There are signs in the windows advertising the return of Sally's.

I wonder what the big delay was. Missing out on Gopher Football and the Vikings on Campus was a big loss.

Some times nailing down financing can take longer getting those T's crossed and the i's dotted. There is still hockey and basketball to reap the rewards to.

I love that bit of sarcastic humor. But I'm glad that they are now open and that the patio will at least get some use, unlike a few other places that open with patios when the temps are falling fast.

I think the patio looks great. You have great vantage points looking to the McNamara park across the street, and the huge windows into the bar allow you to consume all the sports on TV.

Sarcasm aside, this place will definitely be ROCKING come fall, especially with the unfortunate closure of Campus Pizza. I am still curious what the reason for the massive opening delay was, though.

I will have to go and check it out inside the next time I'm at the U. I'll hope they are open for a lunch crowd.
