I'm excited about this project and am glad they're keeping the tower. I also like the idea of the peace totem but...
I'm hoping they do a bit better than "May Peace Prevail" in lime green, 1,000,000 pt Arial font.
What are the odds that's just a placeholder and they hire an artist for the real thing?

There was a fire engine call out to the demolition site this morning. From a distance it looked like lots of smoke rising from it. But the fire engine left quickly, and I think that what happened was someone called the fire trucks to respond to a cloud of dust rising from the demolition.

Tower is fine, no structural damage. Riverton project continues unimpeded, according to Joe Goetzke of Riverton.
