Demolishion of the habitat building looks like it just started yesterday or today...not sure I that means anything will be built soon though, I have no idea.

"Demolishion".... wow nice spelling

Also here's an update on the project from last fall....

65-unit affordable housing project, may or may not be catered to seniors.

Update on Aeon project. Still working to get last amount of needed funding hoping to get final amount from city in October. Finally saw some preliminary details about the building:

39 spaces of car parking all underground entrance off of 30th Ave SE
Around 100 bike spaces
Around 70 units in a U shaped 5 story building with courtyard off of 30th
Ties in to district storm water system and leaving space for district heating equipment if ever set up
Larger sized units one, two, and a significant number of three bedroom units (no studios)
Target market is families more than individuals
Hoping to break ground in 2018

That's good to hear that they're teeing it up for district heat. I hope the other buildings in this wave are too, even if they're not mentioning it.

FWIW, this is now called "The Louis," and the renderings aren't a complete tire fire anymore.
