Also an indicator of the disingenuousness of the eternal "neighbors have parking concerns" refrain, if the neighborhood group is still bringing it up for this building with just barely less than two spaces per unit. No one paying north of $400k for a condo is going to be storing their car on the street to save a bit on parking costs.

They could have built themselves parking with the $100k+ they wasted.

By the way, the District Court officially ordered that Alatus and the city divide NEBL’s $100,000 bond money. So they will not be getting that money back.

May 6th is the planned date for groundbreaking.

According to an email lI just got, they are planning to start taking reservations on December 13th.

There is some choice now, either this or Eleven.

I do wonder if they are going to be able to keep the prices they are targeting. Between this, Eleven and the gateway condos, there are a lot of very high end units that will be on the market over the next 2 years.

I went to the presentation. The mayor was there. They have really put a lot of thought into this building. One bedrooms starting at $450K. Penthouse units starting at $5.9 million. If you want the 40th floor to create your own Hollywood movie set you can purchase it.

They have purchased the library next door and will use it for their sales center starting tomorrow. Appointments only.

That seems a lot higher than they were originally targeting. Is there really that kind of demand in this market to support that?

KARE11 started reporting yesterday and again this morning that this is going to break ground today. Is there equipment on-site?!

Just rode by on the bus. Nothing on site. Probably just a ceremonial ground breaking.

No equipment until May. They will reserve units until then and start in the spring. Yes, I was also surprised to hear about the library purchase. It must be very recent. The tax records are not showing it yet.
