Nothing like a good quango.
Does the SPPA have a purpose other than perpetuating the SPPA? It's hard to believe that Saint Paul doesn't have enough suburban-style industrial parks by now.

How many of you are on city commissions? I'm interested in getting more involved locally (recently applied for the Rush Line Community Advisory Committee). Now I see that my city has 2 vacancies on the Environmental Advisory Commission. I don't have a background in governance or planning. I'm just interested in making my corner of the metro better. Think I'd be considered without experience or formal education? Thanks for any advice.
