Gorgeous. I kept waiting for the big eraser of urban renewal, but it blissfully never arrived.
The problem with being an introvert online is that no one knows you're just hanging out and listening.

Not sure this is stress relief or stress-inducing, but I came across this quote on Twitter and enjoyed it very much:
The world is designed by the smartest people for the stupidest people. So middle-of-distribution people are destined for frustrated lives.

Posting hat trick?

Jalopnik linked to these today. Absolutely gorgeous photos. I'd love to road trip across the US old-school-style some day.

I don't know if this has posted anywhere on the site (though I know many of you probably read the MinnPost article about it a couple days ago), but I found this pretty hilarious.

The last track on his latest album is about a bus. Fitting, that both his first and last songs involve happenings on a bus (there are rumors that this is his last album).

It might be his last proper album (fulfilling his record contract), but he won't stop making music. He's talked about switching over to a more digital approach, releasing a single or two at a time. This would allow him to release parodies of popular songs in a more timely fashion, as opposed to the current setup where some of the songs parodied on an album are well over a year old by the time he has enough material for a full length record.

I think he's in the midst of releasing eight videos for songs from the album, though they're all being posted to different sites. "Word Crimes" went up on YouTube:

Speaking of stress relief, I'm enjoying the whining of MRRDC over the Linden Hills development and also the current state of Conservation Districts.
