Back to the Future: Part III has a train scene crucial to the plot. Nothing really futuristic about it until the denouement, though. The modified train was carried over into the cartoon spinoff series.

My favorite Facebook page of the week.

"Asshole parking in Shakopee, Chaska, Savage and surrounding areas." https://www.facebook.com/pages/Asshole- ... 0224783350

Clearly APISCSASA is challenging MRRSVLD for longest local group acronym.

The problem with being an introvert online is that no one knows you're just hanging out and listening.

The 50 states (plus bonus Puerto Rico and D.C.) as bar stereotypes.

Dunno where this fits exactly, but thought it was interesting to hear perspectives from various folks:

Not sure if this will reduce or increase our stress, but the wife and I picked this up last Friday...

$180 on Craigslist, plus a brutal 8.5 mile ride home from NE. Needs a lot of work but it rides and the frame appears to be solid so sky's the limit here.

Found this...

Left, Otto Wagner's 1880 plan for the Vienna Giro und Kassenverein bank. Right, the Millennium Falcon.

So, the new episode of Southpark today was about gentrification, and of course urbanmsp came to mind :D

(I think the two previous episodes from this season are also free to watch online right now. They provide some context for this one b/c story arc.)
