The Mighty Ducks is on HBO right now. I haven't seen this movie since really knowing Minneapolis. Right away there is a scene right outside Liquor Lyles. Anyone know where the rink is that Gordon Bombay drives his limo onto? Somewhere either south or southwest Minneapolis.

Apparently Adam Banks lives at 450 Hennepin Avenue N., which appears to be the parking lot north of Augie's and Brass Rail.

It is one of the Minneapolis lakes. For some reason, I think it was Nokomis.

It seemed a lot smaller and more densely developed. Honestly it looked more like a flooded rink than a pond or lake, but who knows?

Gaviidae Commons makes a bustling cameo as well.

I always thought it was on Powderhorn, but I haven't watched the movie in about 15 years so idk.
