I felt the forums were missing a catch all thread to gather every happening, update, and bit of news for every museum, popular and less known. Then again maybe the interest isn’t high enough. But here we go.
I came across a story about how MIA was a recipient of a large donation of Native American textiles.

It's not too bad. I would recommend getting your tickets online ahead of time to make sure you get a time slot that works for you, otherwise you may need to wait a couple hours to get in, but that time can easily be killed wondering the Bell Museum. Is the public planetarium too crowded since the opening? Has anyone been there?
