I actually thought Thunder Bay had an extremely appealing waterfront area, with the public art, docks, etc. Glad to see they're keeping that momentum!

Depending on what you mean by nice, the Holiday Inn is like two years old and perfectly comfortable. Of course no spa or restaurant, if that's what you're into. Not much for views either, but close to the Real Canadian Superstore.
