They're changing some of the exterior materials and are going through an administrative review of that.

Gee thanks. Glad I have your approval. Anything else to add?

Sure. This project was literally just approved 4 1/2 months ago. That's not very long at all...several projects have taken a year or more to get off the ground following approval. ¡Cálmate!

The windows have been stripped at the old building. I'd expect demolition to begin soon.

Yes, and jersey barriers up around the whole site...looks like it is underway. Thank goodness that one poster will not have to inform us that another month has gone by.

But I just threw away all my calendars... now how will I know when a month has passed?

Winter is only 3 months away, let's hope they have their hole dug, floors poured and exterior on soon!

I've heard this hotel could attract unprecedented interest from multiple internationally renowned nightclubs that don't yet have a presence in North America.

This is good news. It fills in one of the missing pieces to making Uptown a full-service neighborhood. I do wonder how this project will affect Ackerberg's plans for the vacant lot to the west of this. The one leak we saw was mostly hotel with medical office with some significant height. Maybe the Moxie will soak up all the demand for lodging in the area, or maybe it will be a huge success and show the untapped potential exists for more.

I would think the second choice, there. Obviously there's a lot more corporate demand downtown, but I have a hard time believing that there can be demand for more than a thousand new rooms downtown and only demand for a hundred a mile and a half away in Uptown.

What ever, it's not like you don't post ridiculous remarks. Thankfully you're never on the other forum anymore as no one liked you.

I heard this may even attract interest in a nonstop flight from either SCL (Santiago, Chile) or GRU (São Paulo, Brazil).
