My Pillow

Postby Didier » February 12th, 2017, 11:30 pm

I left my tv in after the Grammys and now WCCO is airing an hour-long motivational special about the mypillow founder, seemingly produced by the mypillow founder. There is a woman sitting at a desk like David Letterman interviewing him about how great he is while an audience at the Pantages watches and cheers. What is going on here?

I for one would like to know where he buys his blue "sateen" shirts.

This is not a special it is a new look informercial. It has aired a couple of times before. I wouldn't trust that guy as far as I can spit.

He looks like a star from a newly-legal 1970s adult film. Which I guess means he knows a few things about pillows. And probably television repair.

It's seriously pretty weird, though. There's a lot of Joel Osteen going on here.

Caught it a couple weeks ago, I got a "Better Call Saul" vibe from him, wonder how much he paid his kids to show up for filming.

Did you hear My Pillow lost its bbb accreditation?

I agree, the 2 for 1 isn't a "deal" it's the only way to buy it!

Anyone have these? I'm almost tempted, just because I'm so curious to see what a $90 pillow looks like.

I have one. It's a good pillow, though they feel sort of lumpy to the touch. I paid a far less than that., Amazon I think.

MyPillow feels like packing peanuts to me. I've preferred down pillows in the past, but they're expensive and go flat pretty easily. The current pillow I like (although it also has an As Seen on TV quality to it) is the Brookstone Biosense pillow. Was like $50 at BB&B. It's memory foam surrounded by a synthetic feel. Keeps its shape, but isn't hard to touch like all-foam pillows.

My Pillow sucks. My wife got one. Returned it. Just a bunch of hype.

I got a free little one with my Get In Gear 10K registration last year. It's okay, but for what he's charging you can get a much nicer down pillow.
