Bdubs opening their small store format somewhere in Uptown. I'm guessing Davanni's?

Nope, Uptown Row.

"Todd Kronebusch, Buffalo Wild Wings vice president of market development, said the company has agreed to a deal to take over the Tum Rup Tai space at 1221 W. Lake St., Minneapolis."

I figured Tum Rup Thai wouldn't stick around forever after its sister Roat Osha moved into Calhoun Square just a block away. I'm almost certain they have the same ownership, if not identical menus too. Both restaurants are in tax delinquency with the state. Hopefully the closure of Tum Rup is enough to stabilize Roat Osha. The rent at Calhoun Square is high and they have a huge space (former Chiang Mai space).

The loss of 3 Thai restaurants in ~2 years would be pretty wild for Uptown...if Roat Osha goes too, Amazing Thailand would be the only one left!

I for one am excited about the possibilities of BWW leveraging its new business overlord (and fairly adjacent neighbor) Arbys for some awesome sauce and curly fry crossover action.

And now Arby's is competing with itself on kitty corner blocks. Maybe if BWW draws enough business away from Arby's Island, we can finally get something developed there.

Something up with Heyday? It's been closed the last two nights when I've passed by, but nothing noted on their website.

Not Uptown.

Snapology filled that long vacant space next to Bob's Java Hut. A lot of your kids are going to love this.
