James and Lake Building

Postby rynet91 » February 26th, 2019, 11:29 am

I don't see a thread for this building which would take the place of four duplexes on the corner of West Lake and James Ave south.

I like the addition of the retail location on lake street but the building seems too in my opinion. They definitely are trying for that height to get that $$ for the penthouse lake view units.

Amazing what concrete can do to a floor to floor height.

Yeah there wasn’t a dedicated thread but a lot was posted in the Uptown General thread.

This is under construction now I think. When I drove by the other week there was machinery on site, working.

I don't see that it ever actually got approved - it went to the Planning Commission Committee of the Whole for discussion in January, but hasn't shown up for a public hearing and CPC vote yet.
