Fort Snelling Upper Post
Re: Fort Snelling Upper Post
With the crazy winds today, it burned fast and was a risk to spread to other buildings. It will be interesting to see if they'll be able to salvage the masonry shell of the building, but everything else looks completely gone.

Re: Fort Snelling Upper Post
Is anything even going on with this project? I hate to see these vacant buildings going into the death spiral of disrepair (fires, damage incurred by weather, etc.), which then makes them even more expensive to repurposing, therefore making preservation that much more unlikely. $600k/"affordable" unit wasn't exactly efficient, so I'm wondering if they're having difficulties raising the capital?

These buildings are all currently under various stages of construction & restoration. This was likely a contractor accident of some kind. https://twitter.com/nickstreiff/status/ ... 8212183069
