From MVTA's Facebook page:
"The Rosemount Transit Station and 157th Street Station Electrification and Enhancements project was recently selected to receive $952,000 in federal funding thanks to various legislators, who submitted the project to the Senate Appropriations Committee for 2024 Congressionally Directed Spending. This project supports MVTA's Sustainability Plan initiatives and will bring much-needed safety and sustainability improvements to MVTA stations, including EV charging infrastructure for both customers and buses."

Not sure how much of that money is going towards 157th Street Station, but I can't see why MVTA wants to invest more in it since it doesn't have any bus service currently, and it seems even pre-pandemic the "station" was underutilized considering a car dealership used part of the park & ride lot to store their inventory in 2019.
