Love this, but the Golden Valley Rd. station is about a quarter mile from the Minneapolis border. I know this is a schematic transit map, but the perceived distance would throw people off. Part of this issue would be that your western border is straight on the west side of Minneapolis while in reailty the city juts out south of Glenwood.

Thanks. I will take that into account.

Blinking, ouch mine eyes! You should strip out all the non-funded, non-built projects/lines, and blink between those two.

In the newest revision, in your key, the orange line logo is colored blue.

I like what you did with the water features in the revision.

The geometry of the Minnesota River should be more angular/accurate through Bloomington. Also, 98th is on the wrong side of the river. Leave the station where it's at, but change the river geometry to go under it.

From what the MetroTransit website says, it appears that the Red Line is terminating at the MOA Transit Center. It looks like you have it going all the way downtown. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.

I know I'm being a stickler, but Park Place on the purple line is 1.5 miles from the Minneapolis border. Golden Valley Rd on Bottineau is .2 miles from the Minneapolis boundary. The Robbinsdale stop almost seems like it should be approximately as far west as you put the GV Rd. station. In fact the Robbinsdale station is slightly east of the Park Place station in actuality. The way you route the SW Green Line along the border seems more in line with how the Bottineau/blue line really runs.

Also since when did Cedar Lake move to St. Louis Park and what about Sweeney, Twin and Wirth Lakes in Golden Valley? Sorry I've been looking at your maps from a distance and finally realized I had something to say.

I agree with a portion of that. If you change the geometry of the Green Line to have less of a kink in it, you should be able to scoot Cedar Lake eastward so that it's mostly in Minneapolis. I think it's fine if it straddles the border a little bit, if it makes for a cleaner map.

Gold Line: Put (Rush Line) in parentheses, like you did with (Gateway).

Purple Line, you can take off the (*) as it currently exists as the Route 675. For some reason Metro Transit has just chosen not to recognize it as something greater, but the service does exist so it isn't really "proposed" or "unfunded".

Orange Line change the date to 2018 (sadly)

Regarding the blobs of water near Robbinsdale/Crystal: if they're important geographic cues, they should be labeld. If they're not important, I'd take them off the map. On that note, can you add Lake Phalen in St. Paul? It is the city's largest lake, so it should be on the map. Overall, I love how prominent the water features are.

Other than that, I think this baby is ready for prime time! Great job and thanks again for doing this.

I can't really change the geometry of the Green Line, since this would have me redesigning much of the rest of the map (other lines depend on it). The best I can do right now is to move the Bottineau line eastward so the Robbinsdale station aligns with Purple Park Place and Green Beltline.

Lake Phalen can be added in though.

uh oh...not sure why I didn't see this before...for Gateway, the stops should go: Mounds, EARL, WHITE BEAR, SUN RAY, 3M, GREENWAY, and then the rest. The border between St Paul and Maplewood is between the Sun Ray and 3M stations.
