He isn't getting any money is he? He's being forgiven the tax on the property and he is terminating parking contracts early. It probably is a wash for him. he could have said no I want to continue to have my lot used for parking, go pay someplace else.

That's what I said. It's a negligible amount and he managed to make it newsworthy by striking the deal instead of just paying for it.

I pulled that from the Minneapolis Issue Forum via Cheryl Luger. That is all I know.

The 4th crane was being assembled today, they have the cab on the top, but still need to assemble the boom. You can see some of the concrete forms popping above ground now from 35W.

Been watching the newest tower crane build itself this morning. It is now the tallest of the 4 cranes, and looks to be going higher.

Also for those interested in cranes, the "big crane" is coming in "the end of June" according to the stadium's Twitter account.

Yeah but the page reads sort of strange. It seemed ot me that they were saying that this is what they were delivering

From the page:
With our concept for the People’s stadium in Minnesota, LINE approaches the project as an opportunity to reimagine an event center experience from the perspective of the different users.

It just seemed odd to me.

it's a page devoted to concept... it's like a history page the ideas and process, the idea of concept, not the actual physical concept
